Mission: Loving teachers, using themed curriculum from birth to High School, impart Bible knowledge, instill a desire to know who God is and how He loves us, in every child.
The children of today are the church of tomorrow. This fact
motivates the Southside Church of Christ
to place a high value on the spiritual education and development of our
children. This ministry partners with parents to be a resource and
encouragement in this task.
We are a small church who intentionally designs our children's Bible classes to be personal and interactive. Our primary mission in children's ministry is to spiritually develop one child at a time.
We use the Our Spiritual Heritage Curriculum that can be adapted for every age and every teaching style.
We are excited about our recently renovated classrooms.

Who we are:
Hawks for Christ is a Christian involvement group sponsored by the Southside Church of Christ. The purpose of the group is spreading the word of God and his love through fellowship, service, and witness opportunities.
Hawks for Christ strives to be a community of faith in which we encourage one another to build a genuine, personal faith in Christ and to develop authentic relationships with other people. As men and women of faith, we also desire to reach out to our fellow students because we know that the gospel of Christ is an invitation to be shared with all.

Southside who are retired gather on the first Friday of each month for some
activity. These activities are planned by different members of the group. A
common activity is eating out at a restaurant in Lawrence, Kansas City, or Topeka.
Other activities have included trips to museums, musicals, and other
attractions.
